Scope of Work:
IT Program Manager
Arrow Fastener|GreatStar Tools, USA is seeking a Program Manager with the drive, experience, and skill set to lead complex programs aligned with our company growth objectives. You will lead programs where you not only help create the strategy but also guide our organization to align on overall objectives and outcomes of the program as well as the KPIs to measure its success.
In this opportunity you will be responsible for the company’s new ERP program and other activities. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, plan creation and management, scope adherence, activity planning and facilitation, budget planning and reporting, program staffing, client relationship management, risk management, and reporting. You will be accountable for leading the execution to achieve the desired value and outcomes.
GreatStar Tools, USA consist of four companies, Arrow Fastener LLC, Prime-Line LLC, ShopVac USA LLC, SKTools LLC, and GreatStar Industrial USA.
Note: This is position will be based in Saddle Brook, NJ. However, you will be expected to travel to other site locations throughout the US, i.e., PA, NC, GA, AR, and CA.
- Provide program management leadership for all program implementation activities, blueprinting, configuration, validation, go-live, and moving the program into a steady state of operations
- Manage and align the different work streams within the program to achieve the holistic business outcome(s)
- For all assigned projects, ensure program management planning and status review processes are completed with regularity each week and PM deliverables are kept current
- Ensure program team follows GSTU program governance procedures and is producing deliverables to standards and on schedule
- Drive program to leverage our newly acquired ERP capabilities and adherence to our Guiding Principles
- Participate in resource planning with other PMs (vendors and business) and management to get resources assigned to program tasks
- Act as customer advocate, ensuring our program’s approach and deliverables are focused on meeting the business imperatives or TTI’s
- Participate in the development and management of our business and technology roadmaps
- Review and understand the contractual terms and scope of assigned projects
- Conduct both an Internal (GSTU) Program Kickoff meeting and a Program Kickoff meeting with our external vendors
- Review key deliverables to assure scope and budget remain aligned
- Hold weekly status meetings and create progress/issues report
- Maintain the Program Plan using Microsoft Project
- Ensure Tasks, Time and Expense entry is being completed in system
- Communicate key dates, risks, and impediments to all program stakeholders and create regular progress reports for consumption by C-level client executives.
- Create and maintain detailed program schedules
- Perform time and expense review
- Experience with SAP Business ByDesign Manufacturing and Distribution
- A minimum of 10+ project management and/or 5+ years program management experience in ERP enterprise environment, including the management of communications, budget, risks, resources, scope, issues, change requests, and quality
- Prior implementation and consulting experience with ERP enterprise systems is required; preferably, experience with SAPs Business ByDesign
- Ability to lead large and/or enterprise-wide engagements, facilitate meetings, create action plans, mentor teams of junior team members and effectively manage escalations
- BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting or equivalent
- Knowledge of ERP systems as they relate to effective and efficient business processes
- Thorough knowledge of all major program management activities, including risk assessments
- Experience aligning program deliverables and customer expectations using Microsoft Project
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
- Coaching and/or mentoring experience with excellent presentation skills
- Budget management and reporting experience for mid to large enterprise programs
- Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in program estimation and vetting vendor estimates
- Experience working with global program team
- Ability to travel up to 35%
- PMP Certification
- MS 365 experience, i.e., Teams, Sharepoint
- Experience with IT Ticketing Management, Jira is a plus
- Knowledge of other accounting or ERP solutions
