Job Description- Project Administrator
The opportunity has arisen to join an industry leader in UK’s Building Services providers. We design, develop, and deliver a wide range of offsite-prefabricated, innovative, and sustainable building service solutions throughout the UK & Ireland.
Alternative Heat specialises in the design, supply, and installation of a wide range of Prefabricated energy solutions, typically built in NI and shipped throughout the UK & Ireland. We also offer turnkey design, build & operate solutions for commercial energy centers and large-scale district heating solutions and have experience with successfully procuring and delivering many similar packages to a wide range of public body’s throughout Ireland & UK.
We are currently looking to fill the role of Project Administrator to support our growing contracts team in our fabulous new Head Quarters based in Banbridge. This post is permanent contract. Job Title: Project Administrator
Location: Head Quarters – Banbridge, Co Down
Hours: 38 hrs. per week; 8.00am to 5pm Mon to Thu, 8.00am to 3.00pm Fri
Salary: Competitive Depending On Experience
Responsible to: Projects Manager
Job summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with contracts/projects managers to provide adequate support for all current and future projects.
Responsibilities of role:
· Prepare and update schedules and trackers for all live projects. This will Involve attending project pre-start and progress meetings to obtain an understanding of the scope and liaising with project/contracts managers to ensure this is reflected accurately and updated for weekly progress meetings.
· Prepare and update accurate procurement schedules for all live projects. This will involve liaising with design and contracts teams to agree a full list of items to be included for each project.
· Attending meetings, noting, and recording minutes of key discussions and decisions made.
· Preparing accurate draft minutes and action points following meetings attended in a timely manner within set deadlines. Follow up for progress reports.
· Become aware of the functions of other members of staff in the department as they affect your work.
· To communicate in a professional, helpful and non-prejudicial manner in all your dealings with staff, clients and customers as you will be regarded as a representative of your department and the Company.
· Any other duties necessary within the scope and purpose of the job as requested and offer support to other office-based staff when possible.
Essential Criteria:
· Good Microsoft Office skills – to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role
· Ability to take ownership of their duties and a willingness to grow and learn within their team and the company.
· Demonstrate a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Good communication skills.
Desirable Criteria:
· Microsoft Projects Experience
· Viewpoint 4Projects Experience
· Relevant experience in Construction or Manufacturing
· CSCS/CSR card
