Junior Project Manager
The Junior Project Manager works within the Project Management Team which is responsible to plan and oversee projects to ensure a timely and cost effective outcome from the preconstruction phase through project completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in coordinating large scale contracts with City and State agencies (DASNY, CUNY, NYPA, NYCHH)
- Manage construction schedules and activities and issue progress updates
- Coordinate with sub-contractors
- Planning/scheduling of project tasks, milestones, and deliverables
- Preparing RFIs, submittals, change orders and daily reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent/applicable degree (preferred)
- Auto-Cad knowledge (preferred)
- Time management and organizational skills
- Technology proficient
- Communication, negotiation and client relationship skills
