Job description
Abatec are currently recruiting for a Freelance Project Manager with a background of delivering civil engineering projects to join our client, a well-known contractor within the utilities sector. This position will be responsible for delivering various projects across a 5-year framework join the South West.
As Project Manager you will:
- Successfully deliver schemes valued up to £10m.
- Liaise regularly with the client, subcontractors, and the commercial team.
- Prepare, check, and implement designs on site in accordance with the relevant drawings and specification.
- Ensure that industry health & safety legislation and standards are upheld.
Our client requires a Project Manager with:
- Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Is able to demonstrate a successful history in delivering civil engineering schemes in a principal and/or main contracting environment.
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
Benefits:
- £400 – £475 per day (outside IR35)
