Contract: 6 month fixed term contract. Full Time
Your role @Chanel:
This is a vibrant and diverse role where you will offer organisational, operational, and creative support in the lead up to, and delivery of, the launch of a new digital learning platform.
In collaboration with the Learning and Development Manager and partners in our Global Corporate Team, you will provide efficient project management of all elements of the successful launch of the learning platform. This launch will include activation events, working with external learning vendors, coordinating with business partners and more.
PLANNING
  • Work with IT to ensure technical components are addressed and accounts are created for all users
  • Provide insight and ideas into the conception and design phase of the launch where relevant
  • Liaise with the Learning and Development Manager to understand and implement specific event requirements.
  • Research and gather information on suppliers and contractors where relevant, negotiating prices and hire terms to ensure budgets are met
  • Produce detailed proposal of the timely delivery of the event and ensure deadlines are honored
EVENTS CO-ORDINATION & PRODUCTION
  • Liaise with all key stake holders including Contractors, Directors, Team leaders and Staff to ensure clear communication of key information to all main stakeholders
  • Plan room layouts and entertainment programmes, scheduling workshops and demonstrations. Oversee the dismantling and removal of events and clear the venue efficiently
  • Coordinate venue management, caterers, contractors and equipment hire as required
  • Manage a team of staff on live events, give full briefings prior to event taking place.
  • Coordinate suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that everything runs smoothly
COMPLIANCE
  • Comply with the CSR strategy for both the UK and Global
  • Follow and adhere to the company onboarding process for all suppliers
  • Ensure that insurance and health and safety obligations are always adhered to
  • Ensure all events are legally compliant
BUDGET
  • Manage and adhere to the project budget
  • Negotiate best prices with suppliers without compromising on quality & delivery
  • Manage invoicing & payments in partnership with Training Admin Team and Finance Department
What you will bring to the role:
  • Events/Project management experience
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills when confirming the best price from venues, suppliers and contractors
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event
  • Ability to manage budgets
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage workload by priority/deadline across several projects
