Background
Within a changing internal and external environment, never has there been an opportunity as exciting as now to help to define and shape our plan for Unilever logistics operations. This role will form a critical part of our transformation programme giving exposure to senior leadership, site and network operations and the opportunity to deliver a sustainable future fit model for the customers we service within our ambient business.
Key Responsibilities:
End To End Project Manager is responsible for overall coordination of a multi-million warehouse build project with an operating factory site. Role will ensure project delivery is on time and in full, within budget and savings delivery and is 100% ensured according to the plan.
Activities:
- Ensure Project is delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget as per approval of business case
- Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders at VP level for the flawless execution of projects
- Coordinate between workstream leaders and functional Directors to manage the overall interdependencies of the project
- Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
- Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
- Report and escalate to SteerComm as per the Project agreed governance
- Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation

Skills Profile
- The candidate must demonstrate successful delivery of Project management and/ or experience of managing an operational role in either logistics or manufacturing environment
- A solid understanding of business cases andrisk management processes
- Strongleadership skillsmust be evident
- Proven self-management andteam-management skills
- Ability to monitor and controlproject budgets
- Capability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent relationship, teamwork and communication skills are essential
- Good organisational awareness and ability to build collaborative networks across the business
- High level of curiosity to ensure that all risks and opportunities are managed effectively

Recruitment Fraud
Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
