WHAT TO EXPECT
Engineering Delivery is responsible for driving our obsession with the precise execution of our products. We are integrated within the Group Structure of the Programme Product Map to ensure robust engineering delivery.
This is an opportunity to join a recently formed Engineering Delivery Agile Organisation tasked with supporting the Electrical Architecture Delivery across all future JLR electrified vehicle platforms.
The CSI Engineering Delivery Group Planner ensures the overall coordination and consolidation of integrated technical delivery reporting, schedules key meetings, and have control of the agenda and consolidates documents, moreover, supports critical issue reviews/topics and executive-level tasks.
In this role, you will operate alongside and collaborate with colleagues from Central System Integration, Engineering Domains, Vehicle Programme Groups, Squads & Engineering Quality subject matter experts to facilitate & administer the delivery of technical features, systems, and software.
Coordinate & consolidate the integration of overall reporting.- Integration cadence, schedule key integration meetings & committees.
- Control of agenda/executive management focus for meetings.
- Track key actions and tasks from top (CSI) management meetings – minute & communicate, and track (lead/drive) key actions.
- Ad-hoc support for critical / high-hurt issues.
- Establish & chair or joint chair to steer task force for critical technical issues.
- Supporting EVA uProg or Vehicle Programme planning reviews to provide key inputs/synchronisation into CSI.
- Developing and implementing project control e.g., risk management.
- Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritising tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
- Analysing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation in a project environment – pending confirmation of role RASIC.
The successful candidate will perform a key role in supporting the deployment and continual improvement of the Agile Philosophy and as such if required will receive training and support to operate within Engineering Delivery Central System Integration.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
Previous experience working in a Project Management role in a large company.- Formal project management qualification.
- Demonstrable experience in process improvement.
- Proficient communication and organisational skills.
- Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience in metric and reporting delivery to support program delivery
Desirable:
Experience working in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
