We are currently looking for a resourceful Project Management Lead to join our team in London. This role is instrumental to the successful delivery of a broad and varied portfolio of projects.
As PM Lead, you will be providing guidance on PMO policies and processes while overseeing business projects and ensuring all team members uphold the company's standards throughout each project's development and execution.
Main duties:
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects with different customers

Perform all project management activities for multiple projects including:
- Creating and managing complex project plans
- Training and coaching team members in project management; while monitoring team performance and taking corrective actions if needed
- Project administration and documentation
- Allocating and managing project resource
- Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities and monitoring/summarising progress of project
- Co-ordinating, attending and facilitating project and steering meetings
- Ensuring that project actions/risks/issues are effectively handled
- Working with Finance team to ensure correct invoicing of Professional Services time
- Engage with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to help shape implementation proposals
- Liaising with internal and customer staff at all levels including project stakeholders
- Ensuring that projects adhere to Board’s Solution Delivery Methodology and governance
- Help to define and enhance Board’s Solution Delivery Methodology
- Plan project management resources, including setting deadlines, prioritising tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables
- Provide necessary project management support and guidance to project managers and consultants in your team
- Gather relevant project data, such as project budgets, risks, and resource allocation, to produce reports for the management, tracking the overall status of projects
- Coach new project managers
- Draft new and improve existing PMO policies and processes
- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
What we look for:
- Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably with a software vendor
- Practical experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Have experience of the project framework and associated project governance
- PM certifications such as PRINCE2, PMI, PMP are preferable
- Have a commercial and delivery mindset and ability to review scope documents
- Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, and attention to detail
- Be exceptional at building strong, long-lasting relationships - both internally and externally
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently
- Ability to work against very tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
