Project Management Assistant Inside IR35
Contract Term: 6 Month
Contracting Authority: Network Rail
Location: Hybrid/ London 1-2 days per week

We require a Project Management Assistant to support the project management team in the every day management of projects for which they are responsible, in accordance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP), Railway Group, Network Rail’s company standards, and all current applicable legislation including CDM Regulations.
As a Project Manager your main key responsibilities would be to:
Be the vital interface between internal comms team and project team.- Pull together comms material from across the project and relaying that info to our internal team.
- Create content about the programme that can be sense checked by our internal comms team and published.
- Research the correct media outlets and supporting key stakeholders with data mining on prices etc.
- Work as part of a project team, assisting to deliver projects to time, cost and quality through various phases in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Monitor and report programme and progress in accordance with project reporting systems and guidelines.
- Develop and integrate, effective support systems to enable the Project Manager to manage and control change.
- Process contractor possession and isolation applications so that they applications are complete and submitted to the prescribed time scales as directed.
- Monitor contractor performance indicators and provide periodic progress reports.
- Support the Project Management team in providing a safe working environment at all times during the execution of those projects under their responsibility.
- Manage generic and site specific methods of working and supply risk assessments to agreed timescales.
- Monitor so that HSQE risk assessments have been carried out by the contractor and monitor compliance.
- Comply with the Investment Competence Framework.
You’ll have the following essential skills, knowledge and experience (please note this must be clearly demonstrated on your C.V):
Key eye for detail and ability to communicate well.- Relevant successful experience in project management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detailed knowledge of safety regulations (particularly CDM).
- Commercial and financial understanding and knowledge.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including: Word, Excel and PowePoint.
