The Project
The successful candidate will participate in the development of an AI product delivering financial forecasts for complex clinical studies. Our objective is to enable Biotech and pharmaceutical companies to make more financially viable study designs to speed up and cheapen the development of complex drugs. The first version of our product is due to launch early 2023 with a large pharmaceutical company and the engineer will contribute to the development of the next release. The main focus of the work will be to build new stable user functionalities (web development) from scratch, but they will also have the opportunity to work on the computation engine (AI part) depending on their interests.
Requirements
Must have skills:
- Experience in developing full end-to-end front solutions in Vue.js or React.js, and Tailwind
- Strong understanding of ES7+ Javascript
- Experience designing, implementing, and testing user-friendly interfaces
- Experience with Node.js and Javascript on the backend
- Familiarity with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) libraries, such as Sequelize or TypeORM
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Capacity to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with creating and consuming scalable REST APIs
- Experience in creating, deploying, and scaling web applications
- Experience of delivering an end-to-end project autonomously and a real-world solution used by active customers
- Experience deploying solutions in a cloud working environment such as GCP
