Title: Project Engineer
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Location: Dungannon – Farlough Road
Job Type: Permanent and Full Time
We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams in Dungannon. We currently have opportunities for a Projects Engineer.
Position Details
We are currently recruiting for experienced Project Engineer to join our growing engineering teams at Terex Washing Systems - Dungannon facility. You will be responsible for the development of new and maintenance of existing Terex Equipment across a wide range of industries including screening, quarrying, mining and recycling. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenge of developing new and exciting products, finding more efficient and cost effective methods of design and performance and ultimately delivering world class products that serve our ever-expanding global customer base.
- The successful applicants will produce full 3D Design and manufacturing package (drawings and BOMs) for New and current products.
- Work with a team to investigate and address Customer Complaints, assist in the resolution of problems at the root cause quickly and effectively.
- They must ensure all products meet standards and performance levels specified for safety, function, and reliability.
- Manage multiple projects at any given time

About you
Experience Level & Required Qualifications:
- Degree educated or equivalent in Engineering
- 3 years or more design experience in the Washing Industry
- Competent user of 3D Solid Modelling CAD, ideally Pro-Engineer and familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Good technical knowledge of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems
- A good understanding of the various applications that the equipment can operate in along with an appreciation for the expected performance of the machines.
- Experience with Oracle TMS a plus
Skills & Competencies:
- A strong motivator with excellent communication skills, you will be fully conversant on modern design practices and “Lean” manufacturing techniques.
- Someone who cultivates a team spirit with the respect of others’ ideas and requirements
- Creativity and innovative thinking
- Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects at one time
- Good Presentation skills.
