Role Summary

Centric to the successful fulfilment of organisational missions, the Projects Engineer role is of paramount importance. The successful candidate will lead & plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of all project elements. To obtain results, the Projects Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to manage a project from start to finish.

To be a successful in the fulfilment of this position, you must have the ability to work with multiple discipline projects and demonstrate excellent project management and supervision skills. You should also have excellent organisational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications

  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • A valid engineering license.
  • 4 or more years' field and project planning experience.
  • Understanding of food manufacturing legislation & HACCP.
  • Experience of automatic filling, capping, blister packaging, labelling machinery.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualisation software.
  • The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent project management and supervision skills.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to think strategically using initiative and confidence.
  • A people centric person who has the ability to quickly build & develop a professional rapport with all stakeholders.
  • A professional approachable personality that translates well across all communication methods.
  • A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Continuous improvement mind set which will be evidenced in the implementation of engineering & technical projects.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, policies, standards, and best practices.
