Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe and environmentally prudent manner, complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and the company's HSEQ procedures.
- Participate in design verifications, LOPA, HAZID and HAZOP meetings.
- Assist in vendor follow-up/Quality Surveillance (QS), inspection and testing activities
- Ensure execution work scopes meet HSE readiness requirements
- Monitor, organize and control assigned work through all phases of the Project to ensure that project objectives are being met with regards to safety, environment, cost, schedule, work environment and quality.
- Ensure that all decisions and activities within the various project teams support the Project's objectives and priorities.
- Prepare and give presentations on project issues.
- Assist Project Controls in the preparation of cost estimates.
- Obtain necessary approvals for planned work in cooperation with Major Project Assurance.
- Monitor scope progress, manpower and budget.
- Keep team members informed on Project progress and developments.
- Monitor project document development, project change and variation orders.
- Manage readiness for offshore execution including integration with the company's Asset plan, manpower and material requirements.
- Promote knowledge sharing - share own project experiences and seek knowledge from other projects/ organizations.
- Contribute to good communication/cooperation with Management and key individuals within the company.
- Follow up team goals and targets.
- Promote well-functioning interfaces between Engineering, Operations and other project teams.
- Any other reasonable duty as per instruction by your manager
Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree educated with an applicable engineering discipline.
- Professional registration (Chartership) with relevant engineering institute preferred.
- Relevant project management training/qualifications preferred.
- Experience from operations, drilling or projects
- Experience with permitting and safety management systems
- Ability to self-direct and manage multiple work fronts
- Strong communication skills
- Awareness of the company's HSEQ Policies and Business Management System (BMS)
- Awareness of the company's Values & Business Principles
