The role
As a Senior Project Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll ensure that delivery teams are clear on what we need to get in place to enable working on site for provision of site services, enabling site capability during the commissioning phase of the HPC project as part of mobilisation of the commissioning team to site and to put in place the contracts.
Day to day, the Senior Project Engineer will support the Mobilisation Manager with day-to-day activities required to deliver work in line with the expectations including safety, quality, schedule, support audits and other pre-reviews as appropriate and directed.
- Support the Mobilisation Manager on the delivery of the mobilisation to site
- Work with all the commissioning and pre-operations teams
- Agree with delivery teams on detail scopes and take them up to date
- Manage the delivering on site in line with the needs
- Report monthly, status and trend
- Put in place the procurement route
- Desirably degree educated, preferably in engineering, science or a related subject or holding or working towards a project management qualification – Not essential
- Delivery focus – either a track record of delivery or a delivery mind-set
- Good project knowledge with multiple interfaces
This position has a 37-hour working week, has a hybrid approach and is a full time and permanent position.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
