Project Delivery Manager
The role
Project Delivery Manager - Warwick (with hybrid working)
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to scope, design, test and deliver solutions. You will be part of the team that decides the best delivery strategy (Product or Project) for the work coming in and ensure it is handed off to the right teams.
You will remove roadblocks, and lead project governance and reporting. You will be a mentor to the project delivery teams and collaborate with the NGV business, IT & D teams, and suppliers to achieve the best possible business outcomes on time and budget.
What you'll be getting up to
- Works with Business Partners to confirm priority of projects coming from business
- Reviews pipeline with business partners to secure and manage resources needed for delivery in line with agreed prioritisation
- Confirms correct delivery model for projects
- Review and support business case development for business projects
- Owns end to end lifecycle of business projects
- Mentor and support delivery teams in their roles to ensure they have clear understanding of priorities as
- Be escalation point for project or delivery issues
- Own reporting on projects coming from the business – including finances, progress reporting and RAID
- Attend any project or portfolio board meetings as needed to represent business project delivery
- Support management of the portfolio as required to ensure clear and transparent two directional messaging between key stakeholders and project teams
- Whilst being experienced in SAFE, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, you will identify the best delivery method for projects coming through the pipeline
