Project Coordinator (Delivery)
Based in Middlewich
Salary between £33,440 to £41,800 per annum, depending on experience

Based within the Faults & Operations team (Mid Cheshire District), you will work within the frontline district team, facilitating and co-ordinating all repair aspects of HV and LV faults.


Assisting in the delivery of minor investment works in association with the District Engineers, you will provide an important interface with Contractors and internal stakeholders, assisting in the coordination and delivery of outputs, including associated system/SAP processes such as release of orders, project closure and payment/volume confirmations.


You will be required to liaise with functional business departments, examples include Commercial & Performance, Smart Grid Operations, Network Planning & Regulation and Licence Programmes departments to maintain relationships, ensuring efficient and effective use off all direct staff.


Additional duties include fault cost and data analysis, supporting the delivery of other work programmes needing to make use of 1st response/field teams, managing SAP workflows/confirmations, supporting EAC roles where suitable and logistical support for fault management.


What you’ll be doing
Contributing as an effective member of the District Operations/District delivery team, you will be responsible for daily and end-to-end co-ordination of fault repairs and minor investment works, owning all SAP/System duties to ensure all projects are delivered within timescales and to cost.


Co-ordinating field staff and material requirements, you will be effective at escalation and communication with Engineers and Team Leaders, delivering excellent customer service and actively promoting customer service standards within your area of responsibility


Working towards a zero-accident culture, you will also strive to achieve a zero-accident rate, carrying out tasks in accordance with SP Energy Networks safety rules whilst complying with site and workplace audits, enabling progression of other work streams through effective planning and use of field staff, logistically and geographically.


What you’ll bring
Possessing developed customer service skills and an appreciation of BMCS, you will hold knowledge of the electrical network and network management systems.


With contract management and general commercial and regulatory awareness skill, you will be able to work comfortably with negotiation, communication and people coordination whilst devising solutions to complex problems and challenges.


Utilising your working knowledge of SAP, past experience of managing or coordinating District cable laying contracts would be beneficial although not essential.
