Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key sites in Reading or Perth
Salary: £31,339 - £35,892 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Main Purpose of Job
We have two exciting new opportunities for Project Co-ordinators who will be responsible for ensuring that project systems are updated in a timely, complete and accurate manner and tracking progress of projects.
These are new roles as part of a growing team within SSEN Distribution's Large Capital Delivery directorate. As Project Co-ordinator, you'll work as part of the Project Services team to deliver effective project controls and governance. You will work closely with the Delivery Project Managers and the wider Large Capital Delivery team to ensure successful delivery of projects.
The role of Project Co-ordinator is to support the delivery of Large Capital Projects including: tracking status of programme deliverables and milestones, reporting at a project and programme level, coordination of the regular project and programme level reporting cycles, co-ordination of project governance arrangements and ensuring project systems are kept up to date.
Key Accountabilities
Roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support governance standards across the portfolio and projects, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of programme deliverables.
- Coordinate governance forums through arranging meetings, taking minutes and tracking actions.
- Ensure day-to-day support activities for project-level and programme-level core functions including collation of project updates, management information and progress reports are delivered to schedule.
- Run and maintain an efficient and achievable reporting cycle and calendar and support all Project and Programme Managers with information and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the wider Large Capital Delivery directorate to ensure an efficient service is provided to stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who has experience of Project Co-ordination or a willingness to learn. A background in a Large Capital Projects environment would be advantageous, though this is not essential.
- Knowledge of Project Control Systems and Processes.
- Excellent MS Office skills including Excel proficiency and ability to manipulate and interrogate data.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
- Focus on continuous improvement, striving to improve the quality of Project Controls processes as an aid to project management.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
