Job description

This is an interesting and varying role, you will take a leading role in coordinating various events and provide adminstrative and general hospitality support, such as ticket sales, and data management including financial trackers, for the likes of our OCS Awards, Young Sportsperson and various conferences.

You will also manage and take ownership of the coordination and management of the company Net Promoter Score (NPS) programme, and providing support to the reporting and compliance regime.

Other Responsibilities will include:

  • To manage departmental administration requirements across the team to ensure effective support is provided consistently and meets business timelines. (to include management of financial information, diaries, travel, expenses and Puchase Orders in support of budget management)
  • Support on all events run by the Events and Hospitality team as required.
  • Event coordination - Coordinate and deliver internal and external events including, but not limited to, employee recognition (Awards), Young Sports Person Awards, marketing (trade exhibitions, seminars) and senior conferences / meetings, including coordinating of invitations, spreadsheets, project plans, budgets etc.
  • Book hotels, travel etc as required.
  • Administer expenses as required.
  • Travel and stopovers will be required wherever the events might be.

Qualifications and Experience required:

  • A good educational background to GCSE or equivalent as a minimum
  • Administration management qualification desirable but not essential
  • Project Management qualification desirable but not essential
  • Event Co-ordination qualification desirable but not essential
  • Extensive experience and understanding of business administration
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team in a customer (internal/external) focussed environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written presence with ability to produce timely and accurate information/reports as required
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Strong organisational skills with strong problem-solving abilities and eye for detail.
  • High degree of experience in using Microsoft products amongst other software applications
  • Experience of Events and Customer Satisfaction would be an advantage
