About the role

Reporting to PMO Management, the Project Coordinator will be a key part of the delivery Eco-System. They will support Project Managers with coordination and support activities on Tier 1 projects. They will also be expected to deliver medium Tier 2 projects under the support of Project Mangers, as well as independently delivering Tier 3 and 4 projects. The main outputs of this role are ensuring they are delivered to agreed timescales and within budget. Multiple projects may be required to be concurrently delivered depending on individual complexity and scale.

The Project Coordinator will be provided with Project Management support, mentoring and training with potential long-term prospects of advancement into a Junior Project Manager role taking on larger more complex projects.

What will you bring?

  • Knowledge and/or experience of a formal project management methodology.
  • Proven experience of delivering multi-site, technology projects through management or co-ordination.
  • Be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Proficiency in analysing and problem solving throughout the different stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Excellence in developing a working project management plan.
  • Able to challenge and question effectively in a professional manner.
  • Excellent communication skills (face to face, verbal and written).
  • Ability to work with multiple software solutions such as MSTeams/O365/SharePoint.
  • Ability to work independently on small less complex Projects with minimal supervision.
  • Be a passionate communicator with the ability to alter the message to different audiences.
  • Self-starter, strong analytical and organising skills with excellent attention to both quality and detail.
  • Ability to work pro-actively and to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible, can adjust approach to different customers and projects.
  • Be a team player.
  • Advanced level of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
  • Experience in working on IT projects/programmes.
  • Demonstrate an approachable, friendly, personable manner, with an understanding of the importance of how to deliver great customer service.
