Job responsibilities
- Project analysis, including documenting business requirements, detailing issues and risks, and drafting business processes and data flows
- Data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete actionable solutions
- Identify gaps between applicable requirements and current procedures/controls and participate in driving resolution of mitigating controls
- Work with business partners to design and implement enhancements to existing processes and/or business applications, introduce new processes and/or toolsets, and engage in process re-engineering
- With guidance, develop and implement solutions that strengthen business operating models, enhance the client experience and improve efficiency and controls
- Define user acceptance test plans and test cases, coordinate and execute user acceptance testing to interpret, assess and communicate results to enable signoff on deliverables
- Provide implementation support of testing and process change management and ensure those implementations meet requirements established by Oversight and Control partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven experience of governing complex workflow including use of checklists tools (Excel) to govern actions and Quality Assurance procedures
- Creation, communication and escalation of high level metrics to top of the higher business management
- Ability to build strong relationships with many disparate groups across the Equities/Front Office /Over-the-Counter stack and influence other teams to ensure deliverables are prioritised
- Ability to manage multiple metrics to get clarity and focus on issues/bottlenecks
- Knowledge of Cash Equities, FI Cash & Repo, F&O and OTC infrastructure - Knowledge of where systems sit in the hierarchy
- Strong analytical skills with complementary communications and presentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy;
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Graduate with relevant experience, preferably in Operations in Investment Banking/ Financial services firms with data analytics background
- Excellent Client focus and Customer care working practices
- Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus
- Being highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented
