Job description
You will work as an important part of a small team supporting the packing of orders and cleaning of the premices.To this end, you will need to be able to lift & carry (manual handling essential) and demonstrate a good understanding of food hygiene practices (a food hygiene certificate would be an advantage).The candidate must be hardworking, a good communicator and able to work well as part of a small dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a team worker, and the ability to demonstrate common sense, use initiative, solve problems on the fly, and demonstrate attention to detail.Qualifications:Understanding of the food manufacturing processStrong communication and desire to work with team and other team members.Cleaner / packer work historyBe passionate about quality food, and sustainability, and have a general interest in food manufacturingA chocolate lover …!Additional desirable things you'll have:Food hygiene certificate.Interest in food and health.Your responsibilities:Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, including cleaning production equipment, sanitizing work surfaces, and following safety procedures.Assist with inventory management, including organizing ingredients and finished products.Ensure work station is clean and sanitized by following company cleanliness standards on each shift.Cleaning duties end of dayCleaning duties of machineryThis role is for 1 day per week (weekdays.) Average days range from 6 - 8 hours. Start time flexible.
