Purpose of the Role
In this role, you will work as part of the PMO team striving to deliver project success across McLaren Racing. Supporting Project Managers, you’ll be involved in projects ranging from Formula 1 to sustainability.
We are investing in the growth of our project management capability, its an exciting time to join the team as we strive to successfully support our people in delivering critical projects as part of the McLaren Racing portfolio.
Role Dimensions:
You’ll spend your time:
- Assisting Project Managers with day-to-day tasks across all projects
- Assisting Project Teams with preparation of monthly reporting ensuring timely submission and adhering to a strict reporting cycle
- Coordinating meetings: booking rooms, sending invitations, preparing reports, taking minutes, updating follow up action plans
- Document control: Maintain and develop document libraries
- Assist the PMO team with research and prepare reports for project feasibility studies
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
To join our race for performance, you’ll need:
- Degree educated or equivalent experience of working in a project management environment
- APM PFQ or Equivalent - desirable
- Confident communicator with the ability to translate complex information succinctly to suit the audience
- Expert in MS Office suite, including SharePoint, Teams, planner – Essential
- Understanding of document management systems, processes and best practices
- Ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Ability to multi-task over several on-going projects, ability to priorities whilst managing time sensitive tasks
- Keen problem solver, who enjoys tackling complex challenges and finding solutions

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking.
