The Role
£29,655 - £31,228 Including London Weighting Allowance
South Bank Colleges are looking for a Green Skills Co-coordinator, with experience of working within the sustainability and/or skills industry, to identify potential employment, work experience and traineeship opportunities in the green sector and to ensure that the future workforce have the skills required to access green jobs. This Project coordinator role is responsible for developing, brokering and maintaining strong relationships between employers, boroughs and South Bank Colleges, to support students gain skills needed to work in the Green Skills industry.
The postholder will work with the curriculum, Student Services and Employer Engagement teams in supporting the college’s employability agenda and will be responsible for developing the green skills and sustainable construction activity offer across the College and widen accessibility by working directly with employers to identify current and pipeline demand for green skills ie; on sustainable construction, reuse recycle and green space. Bringing together awarding organisations and employers to support the development of new demand led accreditation. The postholder will work with the green skills lead to develop new training opportunities, funded or otherwise and support the delivery of course outputs.
Fixed Term for 16 weeks - 36 hours a week

Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with people with working within a team.
Candidate will hold a Personal skills in English, Mathematics and ICT by holding Level 2 qualifications with a 5-year currency (or by undertaking initial assessments at job interview stage and by achieving Level 2 within one year of their appointment date as appropriate)
