About the Business / Function
The vacancy is for a role within our busy London Destination Office, where the team handle MICE tour & Premier Ad-hoc tour and support our global sales functions by providing quick confirmation with attractive conditions and offer the solution and ideas to MICE and Premier Ad-hoc tours.
About the Role
To assist with the delivery of a first-class service to all Specialist Tours including MICE, Maestro and direct sales associated with Benelux, UK, and Ireland. Assisting in the management of the end-to-end process with the MICE team and Project Managers. This shall be done with a strong focus on revenue, customer satisfaction, and high quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Project Manager on all phases of the project or tour (including quotation support & optimization)
- Manage and operate your own specialist tours when needed, including itinerary and revenue checks
- Join inspections & Client meetings, Upselling extra services and products where possible
- Onsite support for key MICE and specialist groups, upselling extra services and products where possible
- Source and promote high end/niche products, negotiate & collect rebates, and commissions
- Provide active and ongoing support and knowledge transfer to the Kuoni Tumlare sales organization.
- Undertake project work as required
- Investigate and resolve service complaints issues
- Pre/Post season analysis and recommendations (coordinated with Procurement)
To Succeed in the Role, You Should Have:
- Commercially minded and Sales driven
- previous assistant Project management experience
- Proven ability to build strong customer and supplier relationships
- Language skills – English fluent and any additional language will be an advantage
- Entrepreneurial and creative approach
- Destination expertise of UK and/or Benelux region preferred
- Excellent at coordinating across a matrix organization
