EDF is the UK’s largest producer of low-carbon electricity, the biggest supplier of electricity by volume in Great Britain and the largest supplier to British businesses.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the Nuclear Generation business helping to safely produce low carbon energy and manage the sites into decommissioning.
What is the Internship Placement?
Working within the Business Performance and Improvement team you will have the opportunity to support with the Enterprise Project Controls (EPC) Team with a key Business change project.
In addition, you will be able to spend some time learning and assisting Project Controls professionals carrying out planning, estimating, cost control and risk management tasks.
This role will be for 3 months with a start date to be confirmed.
What you can expect:
There will be opportunities to be involved in a broad range of tasks, including:
Developing of the EPC team Intranet and Share Point sites that support the Project Controls disciplines and systems (Planning, Cost Estimating, Cost Control, Risk Management and Change Control).- Developing communication and training materials for system rollouts and process changes.
- Analysing system to understand user trends and feedback.
- Supporting the project controls team testing system changes.

You will be based at our Gloucester Business Park location with remote working involved.
What you’ll need to apply:
Expected final grade of 2:2 or above in your degree discipline.- Excellent communication skills, written and oral presentations.
- Strong Microsoft office skills.
- You’ll be a team player with great analytical skills.
