About the team
Project Controllers in Thales are a critical part of the Project Management team. Day to day you will work closely with one or more Project Managers and Project Technical Leaders, but you will also be part of a much larger Project Controls community which will support your professional development with coaching/mentoring, targeted training and professional certification as appropriate.
Our Opportunity
We are looking for talented individuals who can genuinely bring strength and capability to Project Management teams, with a professional background in Project Controls and/or Project Management. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining robust project baselines, deploying best practice controls, using data from the project to proactively identify trends/variances/risks and preparing accurate and succinct reports for management attention.
Our projects are often highly complex, typically including large components of engineering design, in-house manufacture and the management of complex supply chains. Our Project Controllers ensure that this complexity is managed through structure and a regular drumbeat that keeps all of the different parts of the team in alignment.
About You
You quickly build strong relationships with key stakeholders. You multi-task and prioritise without the requirement for regular direct supervision. You stay calm and rational under pressure and you have the ability to establish and meet deadlines.
You will bring structure to complex situations, have a keen eye for detail and the ability evaluate, interpret distil and communicate complex information.
With direct experience in Project Controls and/or Project Management, you will have experience of: Creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using scheduling software, Change Control, Forecasting, Deploying KPIs, Variance Analysis, Risk & Opportunity Management, Project Governance and Project Reporting.
Experience with EVM, SRA, CRA and Primavera P6 are desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will need full Security Clearance (SC) -For more information and guidance please visit the UKSV website*
