Job description
As a Graduate with the product creation team, you will be expected to attend internal team meetings/ project calls and be asked to take minutes, which will give you the opportunity to learn how the Borders Portfolio works and gain better insight into the products that we create.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Lead Project Manager with the Product creation team in Borders - the part of SITA tasked with protecting the passenger journey and securing national borders.

- Understand the stages of the SITA product creation lifecycle - specification, design, development, testing and support the team throughout these phases where required.
- Taking minutes for team meetings
- Help Product Managers with Product Stage Gate processes.
- Support and assist PCPM’s with product projects to ensure that as a team we meet the timeline, budget & quality requirements.
- Support Product Creation Programme Manager with portfolio reporting and administration.
- Assist the Project Manager in maintaining and updating project execution plans and schedules.
- Make periodic project plan updates as per input from the project team.
- Monitor project execution as per input from the team, updating project risks, issues, changes and financials and reporting deviations to the project manager.
- Fill in purchase order forms and tracking approvals, if and when requested by the Project Manager.
- Uploading receipts of purchase orders on the system as instructed by the Project Manager.
- Create/update central project repositories and registers as required
- Ensure proper electronic filing of important documents and support the overall of the Borders document libraries.
- Track key changes to the Border Portfolio roadmap
- Manage small internal projects within the PCPM team
- University degree in Project Management or a related field;
- Exposure to Project Management methodology – an understanding of product creation would be advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
- Interest in developing an understanding of Software Development and technology projects;
- Good time management skills;
- Ability to work well independently and comfortably with international teams;
- Fluent in English language (other languages are an advantage).
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Must have less than 12 months’ post graduate experience, excluding undergraduate placement/ internship experience.
- Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom without the need for a work permit / sponsorship.
- Participate in structured rotations allowing you great exposure to different teams and technologies.
