Salary details: Grade 6, £21,960 - £22,768 pay award pending

The Strategic Commissioning Team works within the Adults, Wellbeing and Culture Directorate and aims to support and improve outcomes for local populations including those with Learning Disabilities and / or Autism, Homeless People, People with Mental Health needs and Older People. We work with strategic partners including the local and regional NHS organisations, and Voluntary Community and Faith Sector partners.
We are currently recruiting for Commissioning Support Officer to support portfolios across the team.
We are looking for a motivated and conscientious team player to support commissioning officers and managers with commissioning related activity including the strategic review of services to inform future commissioning intentions. This will include data gathering and analysis, communicating with other parts of the Council, external agencies/partners and providers and consulting with service users and stakeholders.
The candidate will need experience of providing flexible support including wider data analysis, experience to identify themes and trends to inform strategic commissioning activity. The candidate will also require a working knowledge of Microsoft packages (in particular Excel) and the ability to work independently including home working.
Ideally, the candidate will have an awareness of vulnerable client groups and be willing to keep abreast of various Strategies and key pieces of work.
