Introduction
Do you want to work for an industry leading prime supplier to the Defence industry?
Our client is looking for a Project Planner to work with their public sector clients creating, reviewing, maintaining, and administering Portfolio, Programme, and Project schedules.
The ideal candidate will have Experience in resourcing and resource levelling, progress measurement, earned value analysis, completion forecasting and status reporting. You will also have advanced Microsoft Project skills!
This is a remote role that will require travel to London 2-3 times a month.
You must hold a live SC clearance to apply. NPPV3 is desirable.
Key responsibilities
- Create, review, maintain and administer Portfolio, Programme, and Project schedules.
- Identify and maintain needs across a delivery environment.
- Input to and review of management products relevant to schedules.
- Support the schedule update process and carry out analysis and assurance activities.
- Lead and facilitate planning workshops and training sessions.
- Advise public sector clients on planning best practice and delivery methodology.
Skills & experience
- Advanced Microsoft Project skills.
- Previous experience creating, reviewing, maintaining, and administering Portfolio, Programme, and Project schedules.
- Experience in resourcing and resource levelling, progress measurement, earned value analysis, completion forecasting and status reporting.
- Ability to work in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- Good understanding of Agile delivery tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Prince2 or APM qualification desirable.
