The role
As a Project Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to join our business and be part of our drive towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Babcock support value stream and delivering world class engineering support services to its customers.
Day to day, you’ll be involved in:
- Benefit Realisation Management for the Transformation Programme
- Cost and Schedule control reporting
- Deliver project controls across the Transformation teams programme of projects
- Earned Value management reporting
- Stakeholder management including the UK Ministry of Defence customer
Essential experience of the Project Controller:
- Experience of working on high risk, high complexity programmes and projects.
- Financial performance management & commercial awareness
- Project Control

- Ability to operate in a partnering environment with other Managers, Senior Leaders, and Customers
This role provides hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office and the remainder working from home (subject to project demands).
Qualifications for the Project Controller:
- Degree level or equivalent qualification in Business/Finance/IT/Mathematics.
- Project Management Qualification (APM, PRINCE2, P3O).
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
