Project Support Officer
Salary: £35 - 40K

Permanent, full time
We are looking for an experienced Project Support Officer to work in a small close-knit Delivery Team, primarily supporting the Head of Delivery. This is a rewarding and varied role, and the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and may be keen to progress to a more senior role, in time (Project Manager, PMO Lead etc).
The role will require excellent project support and coordination skills and an ability to adapt and be flexible in a changing and time sensitive environment.

Job Role
Project governance (80%):
Primarily working with our internal team and Head of Delivery to monitor, progress and support on day-to-day project control.
Portfolio data management and control.
Maintenance and control of a portfolio tool with at least 50 projects.
Continuous improvement of internal tools and trackers.
Daily high-level portfolio reviews and engagement with relevent PMs and team members.
Template and document repository management.
Document review management.
Portfolio reporting management.
Delivery board coordination and support.
Forecasting support (resource and wider portfolio schedule).
Project record keeping, reporting and governance support.
Client communications in the form of progress updates, planning and date negotiation.
Internal stakeholder and team communications.
Vendor management and communications.
Collating and holding post project reviews.
Admin and general support for the Head of Delivery and wider team members.
Delivery strategy support (20%):
Supporting the Head of Delivery with implementation of a Delivery Department Strategy.
Ownership (supported) of some elements of a department and business improvement strategy.
Essential skills and experience
Excellent Excel and data management skills (CSV extracts, pivot tables etc).
Strong and demonstratable MS Office skills, specifically Word, PowerPoint.
Experience of maintaining project plans, project resource management and RAIDs.
Experience in any industry planning tool - MS Project, Planner, Asana, Monday etc.
Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong SharePoint and/or MS flow skills would be highly regarded.
