The role is responsible for providing project analyst support to projects, applying the organisation’s project delivery standards.
Working as part of the core project team, the role will collate and source relevant information from business areas to enable development and maintenance of project plans, as directed by the Project Manager.
We’re looking for someone with a diligent attitude, brilliant attention to detail, and the ability to solve queries as they arise.
The difference you’ll make.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of project Risk and Issue registers, ensuring the information is up to date and owners are progressing actions to agreed dates.
- Supporting the Project Manager in the operation of project governance, including organising meetings and working groups, preparation of project governance materials and capturing and tracking action logs.
- Understanding the customer/s of the project, and ensure their needs are reflected in the project delivery approach and deliverables.
- Ensuring projects are managed effectively in regards to financial tracking of costs and projected forecasts.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
What you’ll bring.
- Previous experience in a PMO (Project Management Office) environment, with a desire to develop skills in project delivery.
- Experience with tracking of financials and awareness of key planning and project management methods, tools and techniques.
It would also be nice for you to have.
- Experience working within Financial Services
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholder management experience
- Data analysis skills, with the ability to create presentations based on project information.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
What else you need to know.
This is a full time permanent position in a team which is currently based in Milton Keynes or Glasgow.
It will be a hybrid working role between office and home – time in the office to be agreed with your manager, typically this is 40% of the working week.
