ICON is recruiting for a Graduate Financial Analyst, who will be working as part of our busy Operations Finance Team, based in either of our offices in Reading and Swansea, on a hybrid working Permanent basis.
The role will assist the Director of Finance in ensuring that timely and accurate reports are prepared, and that our Work Orders are monitored so that our revenue, work performed and forecasts, are objectively tracked and managed, in order for the company to meet established goals and meet it's objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Finance & Accounting, Economics or Mathematics Graduate, who is looking to secure a finance role, kick start their career in Finance & Accounting, and gain new skills in a range of Financial activities, become more commercially focused and be a key player in support of Project Managers.
The Graduate Project Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
- Month end Revenue Recognition/reporting.
- Analysis (overburn / efficiency reviews) & invoicing.
- Budgeting & forecasting.
- Oversight of project resourcing.
- Pricing & any other ad hoc duties as and when required.
- Representing Operations Finance in internal reviews as well as external client meetings.
- Responding to internal and external audit requests.
- Provision of internal financial reporting metrics and external client reporting.
To be considered for the Graduate Project Financial Analyst position you must be:
- Finance & Accounting, Economics or Mathematics Graduate.
- Have effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Have a good aptitude for Excel and can use it comfortably.
