Job description
Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Project Analyst to join our team. This is a hybrid role split between our site in Reading (1 day per week), and remote working. You will join a team that authors and protects the data that the various parts of the business use to communicate.
The team sits in the middle of the business delivering to every team, which makes it a fantastic place to see how all teams and people operate. You will get to meet and work with lots of people and resolve some very complex requirements.
We would like you to:
- You will be working cross functionally with the project leads from the other areas of the business and facilitate and cross functional discussion which require a level of independent coordination
- Supporting in the creation of new tools/processes to drive efficiencies within PMO and the wider business
- Through analysis of business data to identify areas where there are opportunities for improvement such as duplication of effort from 2 functions
- When required lead key meetings to track the progress/status of the project/workstream and its sub-elements and steer the Team towards objectives/deadlines
- Being able to understand complex topics and simplify to a ‘problem statement'
We would like you to have:
- Experience in working in multidiscipline role interfacing with numerous stakeholders
- Ability to collate and understand data for upward presentation
- Highly proficient in Microsoft toolset
- Experience of using Jira and Confluence is highly desirable
- Experience within Automotive/Aerospace/Military project delivery is preferred
