Scottish Friendly have an exciting opportunity to join the Investment Department in the role of Project Analyst. This is a fixed term contract for 10 months. Based in Glasgow City Centre, we are one of the most progressive mutual life insurance offices in the UK. Reporting to the Project Manager , the key responsibilities for this role include:
· Supporting the delivery of delegated project workstreams including monitoring that project milestones are being met. Such workstreams may include customer communications, systems development or fund analysis. This will provide an opportunity to work across the business including with our IT, Customer Services and Actuarial teams.
· Overseeing the important area of customer communications; including the appropriate use of data and working with colleagues to ensure customers are contacted at the appropriate time.
· Working with IT colleagues to ensure changes are understood and monitoring the delivery of these to milestones.
· Performing business analysis tasks and drafting summary papers on the work performed. This may include reviewing data or literature and preparing analysis and/or findings reports based on this review. The material to be reviewed can cover a broad range including regulatory guidance, customer trends, or cost/benefit calculations.
· Adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.
· Working with external stakeholders, including service providers, to ensure that deliverables are met in accordance with the project plan.
· Managing multiple tasks and meeting development deadlines.
The successful candidate will have practical experience of delivering project activities and performing analysis combined with previous experience of working with insurance and investment products. You will have excellent written communication skills and strong analysing and reporting skills.
