Project Administrator 9 month FTC
This role can be based in either London or Birmingham Hybrid working is available
Chiltern Railways are looking for a Project Administrator to join the team, the purpose of this role will be to support project members with project administration activity, ensuring critical activity is completed to project milestones and in line with legal/regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the project team. Assisting in the effective management of site based administrative duties. You will be front of house and responsible for providing front end customer service to visitors and staff, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring enquires.
You will ideally have experience of working in an administration role ideally. The role requires that you are highly organised and self-motivated. You will hold high quality communication skills that enable you to interface between internal departments, clients, internal staff and contractors.
Work with project SMEs to ensure full project alignment.
Represent Chiltern at industry meetings, if required.
Arrange project team meetings
Note Taking
Action log maintenance
Support consultation with staff and trade unions as appropriate.
Prepare documentation as relevant (EG: Letters, notices)
Experience in supporting projects from an administrative and coordination capacity
Administrative experience
Working knowledge of MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Willing to work flexibly and quickly
Ability to respond to planned and un-planned work priorities
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Good presentation and report writing skills
Ability to establish rapport and credibility at all levels of an organisation
Ability to organise own work so that colleagues can pick up work at any stages.
