The Young Lives team has registered an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Accountant to join the team. Based at the Oxford Department of International Development (ODID) the post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management and administration of the Young Lives study, in accordance with University financial controls and donor compliance.
The successful candidate will have achieved or be working towards an accounting qualification. They will have excellent numeracy skills, thoroughness and attention to detail, resulting in the ability to produce accurate, detailed work. They will also have strong diplomacy and team skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of colleagues and funders. The ability to present financial information in a variety of formats and for non-accountants is essential to this role.
This post is part-time (0.6 FTE, flexible depending on appointee’s availability) and fixed-term until 31 March 2025.
