About The Role
- Preparing and posting accruals, prepayments and adjustment journals.
- Ensuring the application of operational and financial controls, for example balance sheet reconciliation preparation.
- Conducting analysis and processing activities in line with role requirements.
- Managing the weekly performance reporting process for Manufacturing sites, working closely with site finance teams.
- Preparing period end management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations, in line with role requirements.
- Analyse and understand variances between weekly and periodic financial reporting with a view to minimising any differences.
- Generate and help to implement ideas for improvement in line with the task specific areas of your role.
- Working directly with stakeholders at the Manufacturing site. Develop an excellent relationship with them, ensuring that they feel comfortable approaching you with reporting queries.
- Prepare financial reporting on a weekly and periodic basis which is targeted to stakeholders, ensuring that initiative is used to adapt as required so the stakeholder has the best information to make decisions.
- Suggest continuous improvement ideas to ensure stakeholders requirements are fully met.
- Identify financial risks & opportunities for Manufacturing sites so managers can respond in a timely manner.Colleague
- Participate in projects based on providing expertise and support for improving business processes and procedures.
- Provide and communicate financial information as required.
- Liaise with stakeholders across centralised Manufacturing sites to understand requirements and identify opportunities to speed up and simplify.

About You
- You’ll be a fully qualified Accountant through either CIMA, ACA or ACCA or qualified by experience.
- You'll have experience working as an Accountant in a large and complex organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the business.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet agreed deadlines.
