Salary: £46,500 - £50,000 dependent on if you are fully qualified or part qualified
Location: The Point, Paddington – Hybrid Working
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week

Role Overview
We are looking for a Project Accountant to join our fantastic Finance Team. In this varied and fast-paced role, You’ll be a key point of contact for financial matters relating to assigned capital developments and you will ensure all assigned schemes accurately reflect the financial position of the development by providing accurate and timely information for development costs used in profit calculations, budgets and forecasts.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for accounting for all scheme developments in order to accurately reflect the financial position of the development, achieved through regular reconciliation and review with the relevant member of the commercial team and capital finance team.
- Liaise with the Senior Commercial Accountant, providing accurate and timely information for development costs used for profit calculations, budgets and forecasts.
- Carry out reconciliation of all capital related balance sheet accounts in accordance with group timetables.
- Establish sound working relationships with the Commercial Development team to ensure scheme accounts are accurate and up to date.
- Responsible for up to date scheme reconciliations in order to deliver management accounts, budgets and forecasts relating to the scheme accounts in accordance with the group timetables and standards, and providing financial management information to inform business decisions.
- Assist the Senior Project Accountant in developing, implementing and monitoring control systems policies and procedures to ensure that the scheme accounting services and records are robust and secure and comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, ensuring that joint reporting systems with the commercial team are fit for purpose.
More about you:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*- C)
- You must be part qualified with 3 exams remaining or a qualified Accountant in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Recent experience of working in Finance within a large organisation
- Recent experience of balance sheet and profit and loss account reconciliation
- Experience of carrying out large volumes of analysis of financial information
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of D365 F&O and Pamwin would be beneficial although not essential to the role
