We are currently seeking an individual to join this team in the role of Programme Test Manager
The Markets and Securities Services (MSS) iQube Programme aims to deliver efficient, scalable, workflow orchestration technology using ServiceNow across MSS Operations businesses. The iQube programme is a key multi-year programme within the MSS Rubix portfolio and is a key driver to enable efficiencies within operations.
The primary purpose of this role will involve the delivery of all phases of testing for the iQube Programme including, all functional, non-functional and automation testing as well as being a key member of the technology leadership team.
In this role, you will:
- Define, implement, and deliver the Test Strategy across the programme.
- Work with multiple stakeholders, from Operations, Technology, Vendor and Consultancies owning the delivery of all phases of testing including unit testing, Functional and Non-Functional testing, and automation.
- Provide oversight of Unit Testing (Test Driven Development approach), Functional Testing across multiple platforms (including driving forward Behavior Driven Development test practices), Non-Functional Testing and the implementation of automation for Regression Testing and UIs
- Drive strong stakeholder management and reporting (including all testing metrics), driving continuous improvement, monitoring of test risks and issues, test environment management, defect management with coordination across multiple IT teams and driving forward testing best practices within the iQube programme.
- Carry out a hands-on approach to testing, with the role holder illustrating the ability to build a product knowledge of ServiceNow age a global test team across multiple locations.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following:
- Proven experience of Programme Test Management within a financial services business is essential.
- Experience of running testing for a large complex programme, circa 50+ delivery team members, 20+ test team members and upwards of 5+ systems/applications/platforms
- Some knowledge of the Market Securities Services would be advantageous in addition to a background in agile methodology.
- Demonstrable experience of continuous delivery software development methods including TDD/BDD and automated testing (including non-functional testing)
- Experience of Workflow Orchestration or similar technologies in addition to exposure to Non-Functional test tools such as Performance Centre/Loadrunner and JMeter
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are key as is experience of managing test teams globally.
The base location for this role is Edinburgh or London.
