We are seeking Programme Support Assistants (PSAs) to work with BA (Hons) programmes and the postgraduate team.

Ideally, you’re a graduate of a related subject. Your approach should be aligned to the programmes here at UWE Bristol and you’re a keen collaborator. This would be a great opportunity for a recent UWE Bristol graduate.

Our PSAs often help facilitate healthy and dynamic working environments, assisting student-led initiatives and profile-raising projects such as showcasing work on digital platforms, external events and other projects that may sit outside the formal academic curricula and student experience.

You’re someone who has experience of collaborating with teams of people and is able to rapidly generate, develop and promote interesting content for social media. They will take responsibility for archiving student work throughout the academic year in an appropriate and accessible format.

Please note: This support role is a training/developmental position and does not involve academic teaching or research.

Where is this role based?

This post is based at our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects. Through a combination of University sites and partnerships with creative and cultural organisations in the city, we have developed a network of cultural and creative spaces. These enable our students and staff to develop their professional practice in inspiring learning environments as well as provide opportunities for creative collaboration and networking.

These are fixed term roles until July 2024, and are part time, working either 7.5 or 15 hours per week, depending on the specific role applied for.
