Job Title: Programme Manager for Corporate Real Estate Projects
Location: St Pauls + Southwark – London
Job Summary:
Reporting to the EMEA Integrator Lead, the Programme Manager will be responsible for managing projects on behalf of the client from inception through to completion in accordance with the client processes. The individual will be responsible for the execution of all project related processes and financial accountability by utilising CBRE’s Kahua Projects tool. Responsible for the delivery of allocated projects within budget and to agreed programme ensuring all Key Performance Indicators are met. Managing all external and internal resources required for the successful completion of each tollgate during the project lifecycle. Extensive liaison with internal and external Clients and appropriate stakeholders is key requirement for this position. An emphasis is to be placed on adherence to the Client Governance processes, successful completion of tollgates, prudent and timely updating of project dashboards and tracking systems and the financial close out of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the delivery of the project from inception to financial close out.
- Work with the Client to create the project scope
- Ensure that each project is managed in full accordance with client processes.
- Ensure On-Time / On-Budget metrics are met in line with the KPI tolerances on all projects.
- Pro-active management of Projects.
- Regular Dashboard reporting to key stakeholders on progress, risk, schedules and quality
- Manage the Health Safety on the projects as per the CBRE toolkit.
- Day to day line management of dedicated Project Coordinator ensuring all database administration and financial governance is carried out within Kahua.
- Ensure Kahua (CBRE PM reporting software) tool is kept up to date in accordance with key objectives.
- Manage the set-up, running and close out of all financial and non-financial project related matters.
- Tracking of Project Funding Requests and updates.
- Change Management
- Reconcile financial system funding with Kahua.
- Assist in preparation of Project Budgets and Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROM’s).
- Coordinate and prepare various reports and presentations as required.
- Project Vendor Management performance monitoring of designers, consultants and contractors.
- Devise and communicate procurement strategies for approval.
- Coordinate and implement process and procedures for the wider PJM Team.
- Additional ad hoc tasks supporting the PJM Team.
- Assist with preparation of capital expenditure budgets and forecasts.
- Ability to support and lead with continual process development, playbook updates, development of new templates
- Adhere to the clients Critical Environment Work Authorisation (CEWA) critical processes and reporting requirements
- Ensure correct contracting process is followed for each region and that service levels are met in compliance with agreements.
- Lead on updating the EMEA Project Playbook
- Prepare project scheduling and conflict avoidance with BAU and FM activities and change freezes to maximize programme duration and minimise risk.
Key Requirements
Essential Experience
- Experienced in delivering projects in EMEA
- Strong technical skills: Design Management, Procurement, Contracts Management, Project finance management, Project deliver experience
- Experienced at managing an internal team
- Has Corporate Real Estate experience – Finance Sector is an advantage
- Experience in managing/running commercial construction related projects
- Experience and knowledge of Banking Processes and One View Project tool.
- Experienced in Stakeholder management and client interface at senior level.
- Experience in database systems and project administration.
- Experience in construction/design/fit out/project management

Qualifications / Professional Memberships
