What you will be doing

Provide effective leadership and programme management and governance across a wide range of projects. Accountable for monitoring project and programme finances, risks and issues, quality management, customer engagement, stakeholder management within both Ricoh and customers. Continuously seeking to build on revenue and gross profit within the allocated Business Unit by working with the Business Development Director and Business Development team.


  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all projects within the business unit.
  • Be accountable for delivery against agreed financial and service targets.
  • Record, report and manage the assigned project budgets effectively to ensure profitability of delivery.
  • Ensure the most efficient utilisation across all projects within the business unit.
  • Ensure the quality of service delivered is consistent with the Programme Office Framework and methodology which ensures documentation is produced to the required quality and standards.
  • Ensure projects remain within the original scope or that changes are clearly identified and the commercial impact and risks are clearly assessed to limit our liabilities and ensuring that the accounts are profitable.
  • Ensure the continued growth of the business unit by achieving sales targets
  • Promote a culture of pro-activity, innovation, transparency, collaboration and flexibility in all aspects of project delivery
  • Attract the right people to work across projects while developing and retaining talent.
  • Maintain, review all service level agreements with the end client and lead quarterly business reviews with the end client to ensure service and delivery targets are met.

You will ideally have

  • Management and Delivery of large technical Programmes/ Portfolio’s
  • A wide range of experience of delivery in multiple industry sectors of varied project sizes and complexity
  • Knowledge of current Telecoms and IT technologies and solutions
  • Programme level financial control and reporting
  • Stakeholder management to Senior Leadership Team Level
  • Ability to work to a structured method but also to be flexible where required
  • Internal reporting to Senior Leadership Team Level
  • Management and direction of large teams of differing skill sets and roles
