WHAT TO EXPECT
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Future Jaguar Team. It is a key leadership role with accountability for the delivery of nameplate programmes or the lifecycle of nameplate groups through to end of production. They will act as key decision makers, managing trade-offs and any conflicts in order to balance the delivery of jaguar vehicles to cost, quality and time.
THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities
Accountable for achieving the quality, cost and time targets of programme and driving the business optimisation of the respective car line.- Drive Profit- Drive programme & lifecycle profitability by ensuring the system and commodity choices made to deliver the chose design/attribute targets are affordable and compatible with market/customer requirements.
- Identification and delivery of performance initiatives in close alignment with Business Performance lead.
- Final call on decisions impacting business performance of programme in close alignment with enterprise functional leaders.
- Lead escalation and change management process where required.
- Quality Whole Life Plan ensuring current car performance and knowledge is harnessed including Quality improvement actions.
- Bill Of Materials/Content- Own the detailed build of Bill of Materials and associated assumptions.
- Risk management.
- Responsible of vehicle specific TFLE breakdown to targets for CoCs/functions and milestones for the programme.
- Defining individual deliverables and activities from shared objectives.
- Responsible to coach direct and in-direct reports on leading by influence, decision-making and delegation skills.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Cross-functional leadership (lead "by influence" vs. "by title")- Empowerment of teams to own their topics and take decisions
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Ability to create cross functional teams with clear shared accountabilities
- Understanding of end-to-end delivery within programmes or projects
