ShareWe are looking for a pro-active and self-motivated administrator to join the Faculty of Engineering & Design Student Centre team as a Programme Administrator.
About the role:
You will play a key role in the team, working collaboratively with other team members and academic staff, to ensure the smooth and efficient administration and operation of our taught degree programmes. Your core responsibility will be assessment related processes in support of the student assessment lifecycle, including maintaining student records, supporting Director(s) of Studies and responding to student enquiries. You will also provide day-to-day administrative support for teaching, assessment and student data management activities.
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.

Our ideal applicant will:
- Have previous experience of working in a busy administrative role
- Be able to manage a complex workload maintaining attention to detail at times of pressure
- Be a strong team player, able to demonstrate a collaborative approach and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team
- Have excellent and effective communication skills
- Have strong computer skills, with sound proficiency in Word and Excel and the confidence to learn the use of web-based management information systems.
Experience in the use of University-specific software (Moodle, SAMIS/SITS and Business Objects) is desirable though not essential. Most important is an interest in our work and a willingness to become fully involved in the life of the Faculty and its departments.
