Outreach Project Officer (Fixed term maternity cover)

Salary on appointment will be £27,929 per annum with an annual increment up to £34,308 per annum (pro rata).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outreach Project Officer to join the Recruitment, Outreach and Events team.
Key duties of the role include the design, organisation and delivery of outreach initiatives, including but not limited to our Teachers and Advisers strategy and our Summer residential programme for young people who are currently underrepresented within Higher Education.
You will have:
· The ability to deliver engaging presentations and to work with young people from different backgrounds.
· Excellent project management skills, including event organisation and delivery.
· The ability to meet multiple deadlines and demonstrate good time management.
· A keen interest in widening access to Higher Education.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
This full-time post is available from 18 September 2023 on a fixed term maternity cover basis for up to 12 months.
