Staffordshire wither sports club are looking for a unit administrator for our Leeds ice rink, accountable for ensuring the efficient, timely and accurate completion of all unit administration, security and control of cash and banking in line with legislation, company policies and procedures.
Responsible to: General Manager
Responsibilities: (Not exhaustive) 1. People. Maintain a close working relationship with the unit management team. To provide training for the management team on the administration process to enable the successful functioning of the unit during sickness and holiday periods. Monitor, analyse and make recommendations to the General Manager related to staff turnover. Maintain regular structured communication with Management, staff, auditors and any other support functions within the company. Maintain staff files and ensure the total security of confidential information.
Customer service. To exceed external and internal customer expectations by developing, implementing and maintaining the most efficient standards of customer service possible to deliver optimum standards and values.
Administration and financial Management. Ensuring that all financial controls are in place enabling control, monitoring and analysis of all income and expenditure. Ensure the daily weekly and monthly completion of all unit administration as required by the company legislation. Maintain the security and control of cash and banking in line with legislation, company policy and procedures.
Operate the unit payroll system as specified by the company procedures and deal with any related payroll issues. To ensure that reconciliation of all cash in line with company policy and procedures and maintain unit change and petty cash floats as required for the efficient operation of the business.
To operate the units purchase order system and maintain an efficient filing system of reports and invoices. Ensure all general administration within the unit is conducted efficiently and instructions communicated as necessary. Update company manuals and staff notice boards.
Business Development to identify areas and actions for improvement of unit administration and cash control to enable a smooth, efficient and secure running and control of the unit.
Company policies and guidelines to maintain all official books, documents, company property and provisions as notified from time to time. Such papers and property must be made available for inspection at any time and explanations given if required.
Security you are responsible for the total security of the monies and valuables entrusted to you. You are responsible for ensuring all security procedures related to cash/safe offices within the unit are adhered to.
Health & Safety It is your responsibility to provide leadership and promote responsible attitudes towards health & safety. Keep up to date with any Health & safety matters applicable to operations of the company. Ensure that all administration related to reporting incidents are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure good housekeeping standards are applied and deliver a safe environment through maintenance of the venue and staff training.

Salary: Up to £24,000.00 per year
