Froglife is a national wildlife charity that specialises in the conservation of amphibians,
reptiles, and their habitats. One of our defining features is our commitment to involving
people in every aspect of our work, particularly those from the most disadvantaged backgrounds.
Do you want to help conserve our native amphibian and reptile species whilst supporting and
enabling vulnerable young people? We have the perfect role for you.
We will work with, and support, disadvantaged young people to create a Neighbourhood Wildlife
Corridor (NWC) which will encompass the most deprived areas of Peterborough and Whittlesey to
connect them to the more wildlife-rich hinterlands and Froglife’s three fabulous nature
reserves.
In the NWC we will create new habitats for wildlife including ponds, wildflower meadows and
hibernacula to help protect UK wildlife
Supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to create the NWC will enable them to
improve their learning, confidence, and skills.
