Antiques Porter/Driver/Warehouse
- To drive a long wheel base (Transit) van to multi-drop deliveries to Max Rollitt suppliers and Clients
- To support the organisation of the Max Rollitt warehouse and showroom
- To undertake basic building maintenance tasks
Main Duties
- Packaging of antiques for dispatch
- Unloading and loading of deliveries including items of furniture and lighting
- Making deliveries in company van to multiple drops
- Goods in/out facilitation of antique stock
- Liaising with external couriers where necessary
- Help to keep warehouse and yard areas neat & tidy
- Internal moving items for showroom setting, photography area and general warehouse organisation
- Supporting in client house install on occasion
Person Specification
- Experience in a similar role
- Team player
- Good timekeeping
- Eye for detail and accuracy, and careful handling
- Passion or interest in Antiques and/or design
- Full UK Driving license
- Manual handling experience essential
- 1 year’s stores or strong warehousing experience
- Driving: 5 years (preferred) & delivery driver experience: 3 years (preferred)
- Ability to prioritise work & organise own workload
- Experience supporting and working with a team
- Excellent customer communication and service
- Ability to work under limited supervision with a pro-active approach to undertaking tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
