• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Tax or relevant work experience
• Relevant work experience in credit-check, payments or billing roles in cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
• Proficiency with Excel

Amazon is looking for a smart, motivated, and analytical Program Manager to join our Amazon Shipping team. Amazon Shipping is a team within Amazon Transportation Services, which is responsible for many of Amazon’s best-in-class logistics and transportation operations.

This role involves high judgment decision making and working with stakeholders in product, tax and accounting. The successful candidate must be able to clearly structure issues and assign owners across different teams, while looking to do what's best for the customer.

Key job responsibilities

• Own setting credit check and credit limit processes for our Shipper base
• Collaboration with internal teams – requires strong working relationships with internal teams including technical product teams, tax and accounting teams globally.
• Improve processes by working with internal teams to understand the systems and variables that need to be adjusted to improve shipper experience in credit checks.
• Support defining country strategies by highlighting limitations and raising resources required to accommodate them.
• Experience working with multiple partner teams to build strong relationships and manage by influence.
• A track record of communicating well with executives and non-technical leaders and with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• Experience in a program/product/project roles is a plus.
